September 28, 2008 Davis, CA:  The U11 Boca Jrs 97 boys claimed its second tournament championship of the season by winning the Davis Shootout.  They consistently performed well over the entire weekend and outscored their opponents 19 to 4 and posting a shutout victory in the Championship Match. The tournament began with an easy 9-1 win over the De Anza Force.  The second match was the toughest of the weekend against the El Dorado United Crew 98.  The Boca 97's played a quick tempo and physical match to win 2-1.  As the group winner, the boys advanced to the semi-finals and were matched against Milan FC.  The boys overwhelmed the skilled Milan FC side with their speed, teamwork and ball control winning 4-2.   Later that day in the championship match the Boca 97's dominated Diablo FC by shutting them out 4-0.  The goals were well distributed amongst many team members and the defense played solidly with the fewest goals allowed of any of the U11 teams in the tournament. GO BOCA!!!!!!!
