Youth Academy Winter Program

The CASA Youth Academy is a program for boys and girls under 8 through under 10 that focuses on player development.  Success at this level is measured on player development and team development not solely on winning and losing.  Although striving to win is encouraged, it is not done so at the expense of player and team development.  The players are trained by professional coaches who have all played and coached soccer at the highest level.  Our Summer Program was a huge success.  Players trained twice a week and played 4v4 Play Days with other local clubs such as Placer Academy and Sac United.

The Winter Session features Futsal and the Indoor Soccer game.  Both types of soccer are important to developing comfort and confidence on the ball.  It also encourages the player to be creative and take risks to play insightful soccer on the field. The program is open to boys and girls in the U8-U10 category.   The players train twice a week from November-December with Indoor League play starting up in January-February.  A December Holiday Tournament at Off the Wall is optional to those who want to participate.
